Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd was established in 1989 in accordance with the company's Act, Section 113.
In 1990 the company began to use floating cage structures as part of its fish farming operations and was the first of its kind to do so in Cyprus. Today, Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd operates a circuit of floating cage structures for fish cultivation, located in the sea surrounding the Limassol port area on the western side of the Limassol bay.

Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd was the first company in Cyprus to research, develop and implement the open-sea fish farming concept in floating infrastructures. This revolutionary action for Cyprus at the time, had positive repercussions for the fish farming industry in that it improved the prospects of production of high quality fresh fish, and had the support of the country's Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Research Department.
Main Products and Destination:
Kimagro produces a variety of fine fish for consumption, mainly high quality sea bass and sea bream for local distribution and export.
Packaging and Distribution Network:
Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd created its own packaging and distribution network, which operates from its own premises and uses state of the art European Union approved packaging equipment (Approval CYFO3).
The Company's building is situated within the Port of Limassol. Housing the company's head offices, the building also includes a state of the art packing section, loading bay, warehouses for equipment storage as well as for fish produce and feeds, and coolers.
Following the acquisition of four local retail companies, Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd has developed a strong commercial trading network on the island, thus enabling the company to strengthen the retail trade aspect of its operations.
The company today has a sustainable international market for its products, exporting regularly to France, Italy, Greece and more recently Russia; it has established and continues to maintain exceptional relationships with all its international agents.
Kimagro Fish Farming Ltd has obtained on 14/7/2004 the HACCP self-regulatory system and very soon will also obtain the ISO 9001 certification. In addition to these quality standards, regular official inspections insure that the utmost quality is offered to the end consumer.
